Alcoholics Anonymous is what I call them, cause they're all a bunch of entertaining drunks, except Brandon, he's their sponsor. I'm actually really obsessed with them, but maybe that's just because I'm literally always on their calls recordings, they're really good about getting recordings, which I love.
But Les Cayes aside, I'm obsessed with Cristina, she is so fucking self-aware, and on top of that EVERYONE wants to work with her because it's her first game so they all think she's dumb, when she's not even close. I love it so much, even watching her on call is like girl you know what you're doing holy fuck.

Kevin's TC Answer is basically a cry for help and he essentially like is begging his tribe not to vote him out. It was kind of a hot mess

LOL Kevin... You got bashed for not doing pictures on your flag because it's like Day fucking 2 and nobody knows who you are or what you look like, so putting your picture on a flag and being, oh I don't know, creative with it, might actually give you some kind of points in a C R E A T I V I T Y challenge. Derp x 5000. Lord help his tribal answers. This kid is the opposite of self-aware. My thing is, if you're going to make videos for most things, you should really be able to look genuine. Make eye contact with the camera or in the least don't constantly make shifty eyes when you're trying to defend yourself or deflect targets, because it makes you look like you're lying

I liked Kevin's answer, but I am also very clearly biased since he is one of my favorites. I do think someone mentioned that Chandni said she wanted to add pictures of the tribe like they did last season but Ashlee/Hodges/Charlie were like "NO! THAT WAS ALREADY DONE! NO FACE-PAINT, THAT IS LAME AND OVERDONE!" which is kinda ridic, because I do agree with Ryan that pictures = better. Their flag was a hot-mess, but so is the tribe as a whole. So sad that the majority is formed by 3 of the most annoying players in the game and Hodges. I am praying to Saint Penny of the Blessed Minority for a miracle that can spare Kevin, even if that means Chandni bites it.

I just think that Les Cayes should eat itself alive before any kind of merge and Hodges should Steph LaGrossa his way into a merge situation because everyone else is /headdesk to me at this point.
I'm also really trying to like Derek but every single time I watch his videos I'm so BORED. I'm trying to appreciate him and root for him, but I don't know why I'm having a hard time caring about what he has to say. Which is bad, because there are people I actually don't like who I have an easier time paying attention to.

So here's my updated thoughts on everyone after hopping through confessionals and seeing what I could see. Might be missing some insight here or there but still.
Amanda - I don't really mind her, but I don't really like her. I can still go either way on Amanda, and I'm sure I'll end up seeing more from her soon. Vic - Starting to like him a little bit more, especially without the 500 minute confessionals, and he really does seem like a perceptive player. I'm still holding out to see more of his personality before I decide if I'll root for him or not. Jessica - I actually do kinda like her, and I think for someone coming into the game a little bit later she's taking the best possible route that she can. It might be difficult for her to gain some footing, especially considering that there's a powerful alliance of three already set up and they already have a couple of ties to the other players outside of that alliance, but a small part of me is rooting for Jess. Taylor- I still really like Taylor, and I appreciate that he's trying so hard. I hope that his hard work doesn't keep putting a target on his back and that it will at least help him make it towards a merge, because I think he's been doing everything he possibly can to try and gain some standing in the game and it would be a shame for him to go too quickly. Cristina - Really like her, really perceptive player, and she's doing a great job of putting herself in powerful positions while seeming powerless. She's absolutely one to watch if she keeps playing it this way, and her alliance is one that I think has the potential to go the distance if they can work with others strategically. Jacob - Probably my favorite on the Liberte tribe. I appreciate his sense of humor, and I think that he's going to be endearing to his fellow players and that's going to make him seem like less of a threat and more of an ally to more players as the game progresses onward. He's also shown that other players definitely trust him, because Vic and Cristina both let Jacob know about Taylor offering them an alliance.
Yapp - Love Yapp! I think he's got such a strong personality and character that it's going to be hard for people to want to go to the very end with him, but it's also going to be hard for people to want to get rid of him. He's one of those people that you want to keep around for as long as possible just because they make the game a more fun experience - and you can tell that he knows it, and he's going to use it to his advantage. I'm hoping he makes it all the way. Nikki - The only person who outshines Yapp, for me. She's definitely my favorite on the Jacmel tribe. I love her confessionals, I think she's a riot, she's clever as hell, and she's got a great personality and a strategic intuition that is going to help her immensely in the game. The alliance of 4 that Jacmel has (though I could live without it including Joanne) is one that I really hope to see dominate. Jared - Incredible narrator, he is going to make the game so much more fun to follow. He's got a great sense of humor, people gravitate towards him, and he's going to underplay how smart or dangerous he really is with that bubbly goofy personality. Very dangerous and smart player. Joanne - It seems like the players in the game are getting more from Joanne than those of us who are reading her confessionals, so my opinion on her is still a bit lackluster. I would rather see the alliance include Derek or Ash over her. Derek - I don't know why, I still just find him a little bland or boring. Maybe it's in comparison to the rest of his tribe or something, but I try to appreciate what he says and can't really bring myself to find interest in him. I do think he seems like a nice guy, so maybe I'm just being a bitch. Ash - I really do like her. She has this amazing like... self-awareness that her situation is shit, yet she's completely lacking awareness, but she's aware that she's lacking awareness. I don't know how else to describe it, I just hate that she seemed to have a strong start and then instantly dead-ended. I really hope something will change and some drama starts up on Jacmel because I don't want my girl Ash to go too soon.
And then literally I find all of Les Cayes to be redundant, boring, or the hottest of messes except for Hodges, who I do really think has a great personality, good intuition and instinct, and I really do hope that he manages to climb his way through the packed snow that is the inevitable avalanche of Les Cayes' chances of success.
But still Jacmel is STACKED and I'm not complaining! Go Jacmel and Liberte!

Alright, congrats to JACEMEL. I knew that they were going to win. I've sense like they were the beauty tribe (as Yapp quoted in his journal). I agree with everyone else with Les Cayes being in a world of mess, I hope they figure out the tribe issues and get themselves prepared for challenge 2.
Loving Yapp, Vic, Jared and Nikki I always check up on there journals first to see what's going on, Amanda is still like in Tina Warren mode and loving everyone. Jessica is playing down her smarts as a follower is a good move for her right now, hopefully she doesn't have to depend on hiding behind Amanda during her journey of iS.
Chandi make me go meh.... Her music always overpower her when she's talking about the game it makes me not want to watch her video **finds a bag to bleh**
Kevin, nice knowing you.. I think your joining the #lastplace club. You seem lost a lot.
Everyone else give me more things to talk about besides the game please!! And maybe I'll talk about you all more.

Okay, so I am finally caught up and instead of sounding redundant and making an assessment of everything that everyone has pretty much summarised and theorised already, I want to focus on the happenings of Les Cayes. Before I do that... A few points... - I just want to mention how much I am loving Christina so far. For me, iSurv1vor: Congo was the first (and only) ORG I have ever played. I relied on my knowledge of Survivor itself and my instincts in that game and I am extremely excited to watch someone else go through a similar experience. I know that Hodges is new too, but he is just not as interesting as Christina (yet). I will be rooting for Christina to do well, unless she does something to diminish fan points in my eyes, and I will be hoping that she will have a shot at placing higher than I did. It took me 3-and-a-half rounds to learn the differences in what you can get away with on the actual game of Survivor and what you can get away with in an ORG like iSurv1vor and I want to see what she learns along her journey.
- I am happy that Liberte managed to avoid a trip to Tribal Council so early on. Had they gone, I know that they would have made a cop-out move and gotten rid of Jessica. Jessica now has some extra time in this game to make a case for herself and form some bonds. If she still finds herself on the chopping block after having this extra time, so be it - but for a little fairness sake, I like seeing her get an extra day or two to get stuck-in and play catch-up.
Tribal Council for Les Cayes: Although I am not sad to see Les Cayes at tribal council so early-on, I am sad at how this result may go. Chutney and Kevin are not my faves this season, but I also don't want either of them out so early. I feel as though Kevin has a lot to offer this game and I also feel that Chutney needs some character growth/development before she leaves. I am still so unsure about her. It will also be sad to lose her so early because she is young and it is tough for younger people who are learning so much about themselves to connect with everyone straight away. They need some time to learn how to bond with each individual. The power on Les Cayes has fallen to some really annoying people. Charlie is a pain in the ass, but he is not stupid and has done a great job of rallying up allies this round and forming relationships. Katie also comes across as arrogant so early. You can be cocky and be likable (see Dru in Venezuela), but right now Katie annoys me a little, which really is a shame. Ashlee is doing what she needs to in order to survive, seeing as her name was tossed around by Kevin. I dont blame her for siding with Charlie, Katie and Hodges at all. Kevin really shot himself in the foot by burning a bridge with her so early. Right now, as it stands, the only hope that Kevin and Chutney have is for them to somehow pull Hodges over to their side and force a 3-3 tie, but we all know that is not happening. It would be stupid for Hodges to rock the boat so monumentally on the first vote in a game with small tribes and impending shuffles. It could also backfire and he could see himself going from being comfortable to being a bonehead who forced himself on the outs. We also know that Hodges won't buy any talks of a male alliance. He would be stupid to, as would Charlie, to renege on the people you have invested more time into bonding with in exchange for a last minute alliance proposal by the guy who has not continuously hyped himself as an ORG god. The sad fact is that Kevin is toast and through no fault but his own. Despite his potential and awesome wood-throwing intro clip, he has made way too many dim-witted mistakes too early on and there is no hope for a recovery.
