Wow! After a long, incredible season, it all comes down to Jacob and Hodges. Both very very deserving of being in the final 2 and they both would make incredible iW1nners! So proud of them both. They've worked so hard to get to this point and it has been amazing to see their stories as well as their friendship develop throughout the season.
I absolutely think that it's a tossup at this point. Vic, Cristina and Joanne seem to be lock votes for Hodges, where as Derek, Jessica Frey and Jared have been seeming to favor Jacob more. But I know Jessica Frey and Hodges have definitely complimented Hodges's game as well. Not really sure where Nikki and Yapp stand. Nikki of course called Jacob out as the best player in her "Mission Nikpossible" video, but then she also said in her iSurv1vor Live that she thought Hodges would win. Charlie said in his iSurv1vor Live that he would love to see his old Les Cayes tribemate win the game.
I definitely think it will be a close vote, and rightfully so, as they've both played outstandingly. I think they both have strong arguments, and it really may come down to who can sell their game better.
So excited!!

I love when it's going to be a close vote. I was rooting for Jacob from way early on whenever that round table was, but Hodges survived a lot longer and through a lot more than I thought he was going to. I remember him almost going one round and he made a major turnaround from it, so that's impressive as heck. My heart roots for Jacob, but both are so so deserving!! Awesome jobs!!

As for opening statements, they both did very well, and they both may have missed an important point or two. Jacob's was better, if only because his thoughts were better arranged and expressed in a linear fashion. Hodges - and I loved his confessionals for this! - was a bit more scattered, harder to follow. If this Jury is making their decisions based on this FTC, Jacob should win, no problem. But I know there's some annoying iB1tterness out there, still. It's not too close to call - this should still be Jacob's game - but it's closer that I would have thought it to be before Kirin posted the stuff from the Jury chat. Even so, I think if Jacob can manage to relate WHY he booted certain people, and WHY he decided to blindside them rather than letting them know (or even just going silent), he might even swing some that are dead set against him. We'll see. Also, I call dibs on a spectator seat at FTC.
