With Season 22 of iSurv1vor fast approaching, I thought it would be nice for all of us to take a look back at why and how we got involved in iSurv1vor and what we've learned from 22 seasons of this fascinating, extraordinary online game that was so carefully created.
With that said, why and how did you get involved in the game and what have you learned from it?

So, this thread is a repeat of the thread Jared already created in the Port Au Prince section of this forum? I know you mean well, Heather, so I will indulge you in the second part of your question.
What have I learned from iSurv1vor?
Well, I learned that you don't have to meet people in person in order to make a strong connection with them and form a legitimate friendship. For the longest time, I put a lot of stock in face-time with the people in my life. I always scoffed at the thought of logging on to the Internet and spending time chatting to strangers of the internet - but then I played iSurv1vor. I made genuine friends and I actually feel like a part of the community. That is why I keep coming back. It is always fun to log in and see what has happened in a game of iSurv1vor and read everyone's views and opinions after a long day of work, or after a day spent with the people in my immediate presence. You guys are awesome!
