My favorite alliance in the game is Jacob/Hodges. They call themselves "Team Baby Steps." I love them so much, they're so funny together and just are so much fun to talk to and you can especially tell that Hodges really loves Jacob and it's so cute and sweet.

Jacob getting Punk'd by me before we started the challenge LOL. That was so awkward for me to watch. Gah! Flashbacks to the first week of India, Sandy. Not cool, man. Not cool.

Speaking of hard to watch, why is it that the only two people's confessionals I can watch without getting drowsy are Hodges' and Jared's?
Well, OK, I don't get drowsy watching Charlie's. I just get a little nauseated.
And, alright, I don't get drowsy watching Yapp's. But I do cringe at how awkwardly self-obsessed he is.
And yeah, Derek doesn't make me sleepy, just deeply annoyed at his constant state of angry-for-no-reason.
And, in fact, I could be wrong about the others, but I'm really not sure. I haven't managed to stay awake all the way through one of them yet.
And why is this so annoying to me? I'll tell you why. Because I'm a Strategy Nerd. I want to see the game being played, the deals made and broken, the long-term schemes that sometimes work out, the well-thought-out betrayals, the complex dance of auctioning votes to the highest bidder, or outright stealing votes from rivals. I want some indication that someone is playing this damned game, and damned few of these people are giving me that. I mean, Hodges does a lot of Day In The Life shit, but he ALSO gives me my game fix. Vic tries, but he's another one that thinks that in order to make a single 8-second point, he has to talk for 10 minutes, droning on, repeating himself....
I miss Venezuela.

I see why Nax is frustrated. These people aren't as cutthroat as Venezuela but they are more connected to one another.
Its just a different season. I for one really enjoy Jared Christina Jacob Yapp amd Nicki's confessionals. Its a shame they'll take each other out! The blow ups will come. The flipping will come.

I for one think this is on par with Japan so far in terms of excitement and unpredictability. A LOT of game players in this cast and the power struggle is fascinating to watch unfold. Venezuela had Audrey and Dru pretty much owning everyone which was a testament to their skill and masterful gameplay, but it was pretty straightforward to watch and therefore it was boring/frustrating for me at times (the only real doubt for them was a Gray immunity streak.) No one was ever truly safe in Japan (or if they were it wasn't for long) and the same has applied to Haiti so far. It's only the halfway point and there have been blindsides o'plenty and even purple rocks!
If this round shakes out how I think it will, Jared will be the first juror. I'm torn because I love Jared and he's the best confessional-giver in the bunch IMO, BUT I do think it will blow the game wide open and give us a crazy endgame.
On a different note, Jacob gives me Rob Cesternino (circa Amazon) vibes, and it's funny how Jessica is drawn to him given her work on RHAP. I love Vic but I think he'll be gone within a few rounds at this point. Charlie is probably going deep which is hilarious.
I love Venezuela but this is definitely different!

I usually hate org to real life comparisons, but this one is so easy to make. Only difference is I think he's going to find a way to win. He would be a very nice addition to the winners club I try to peak in the window of day after day.

I love love love Jared so much. He is such a unique and incredible player and person and having him this season has been nothing short of incredible. I am really going to be sad if he goes home this round, because I'm going to miss his presence in the game so much. I'm glad he will at least make jury though. But he has really been so amazing and I'm glad he played this season, and I hope he is able to play again in the future.
My favorite alliance is still Team Baby Steps though (Jacob and Hodges). I love seeing them work together and just interact with each other in general. They're both so much fun and are great players, especially Jacob like Sami and Dru just mentioned, he's seriously so great.
Still love Derek too, I know he gets overly negative sometimes but I love his passion and energy for the game and I really think he's sooo cute too.

I totally agree with Sami, Haiti and Venezuela is like comparing apples and oranges. The great part about Haiti so far is kind of the lack of ability TO "pagong" the other tribe, like they keep trying but in reality it's just not going to happen. As it stands righht now, I don't think Jacmel is going to stay strong forever, justly so I don't think Liberte is either. Jacob is going to be loyal to Vic/Cristina as long as it benefits him. I think Nikki's going to start stepping up now and once she steps up she'll realize Jared/Joanne/Yapp really aren't that great for her.
If the idol happens and Jared goes out this round, I definitely think that we're going to see a dissolve of tribal lines. Vic doesn't have the idol anymore so he's lost his sense of power, and then Jared gone leaves Jacmel without it's leader.
I definitely don't think we're going to see any sort of predictability in terms of end game in Haiti like we saw in Venezuela, but time will tell.

I'm so sad Jared is going , he was my fav how did they not figure out he had the idol or at least cast 1 vote somewhere else incase he did. I'm so annoyed that Vic's plan worked, now he's going to become even more arrogant!!!!!
