Since Jared was one of the two that gave me my game fix without making me snore, I'm very nearly devastated at his boot. And that isn't a very "me" thing to say, so, yeah.
Guess I'd better catch up, again. Yeesh, spend one day dealing with my real life, and I'm already a development behind...

JACOB IS LITERALLY AMAZING. LOVE HIM SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!! I'm no megafan or anything, but I have to admit, his last confessional gave me everything I could ask for, even a bit of a clue as to his long-term plans. So yeah, points for Jacob. Nikki claiming to be stepping up her game.... I'll believe it when I see it. Show me, don't tell me. I honestly hope you do, because so far... Vic's pre-tribal confessional - heated! He turned on his Emotive Self, and that's good... unfortunately, he still took 8 minutes for what should have taken 3, and repeated himself constantly. That said, I think he played this round not only RIGHT, but I think he played it WELL. Dude's lucky to have had Hodges with him for this one. Jacob, already plotting to end Vic's game: probably smart of him. Vic's not got one big, major move under his belt, and he is a forceful personality. Not the kind of guy you want to let get too deep, if you can help it. Jacob, you'd better hope you can actually trust the people you're throwing in with, though. Whole lotta lyin' goin' on this season, and a WHOLE lot of lies getting uncovered. Hard to truly be loyal to someone who's done that to you more than once.

Fun side story: So while Jacob was working on making his big move tonight, he was on call with Jessica Frey, Charlie and Hodges, but Cristina/Vic were also calling him. So he told Vic he was going to take a shower, even though he was on these other calls. Lots of time passed, and then Vic/Cristina tried calling him again and Jacob knew he had to answer. So before he answered he literally dumped his head in the sink in order to wet his hair so it looked like he really did just get out of the shower lmao!!!!!

Wanted to share with you guys this call I was in last night between Jacob and Jessica Frey. The excitement in this call is unreal! Jacob and Jessica Frey are so excited about their plan. In the middle, Jessica Frey gets up to take an iSuv1vor pic with Sandy and Heeral so we get to hear from her notable roommate Clayton who hopefully make an appearance in iSurv1vor someday.

A double boot twist? That's grand.
My guess that Vic will be gone shortly after his idol useage.

Okay seriously obsessed with Nikki right now.
She is literally laying it all out for Vic but he can't see what she's trying to say! Nikki realizes that her not being close with Jacob is a dangerous thing and she knows in her gut that letting Vic go doesn't make any sense from the perspective of the "other side." She's correctly inferred that there's more going on than meets the eye (this is iSurv1vor afterall.) Logistically speaking, it's too easy.
It's all founded. Vic's departure is going to give rise to a powerful Hodges, Jacob, Jessica core with a strong sphere of influence over Charlie and Derek.
Jared leaving severed Derek's ties to the rest of Jacmel and with Jacob and Jess ready to cut off Liberté's Head so to speak, Cristina, Joanne, Nikki and Yapp are about to become the ones on the bottom scrambling. Cristina has no ties to the other three so unless they can unify and scoop up Charlie/Derek they could definitely be in trouble! I will not be surprised at all if Jacob maneuvers his way to the Final Four with Charlie, Hodges and Jessica.
Nikki is trying to hint to Vic that his tribe is turning on him, but she won't outright say it and incriminate herself, but he refuses to believe that his tribe would ever turn on him. I love Vic but you can't script this kind of dramatic irony. This episode is a doozy.

I love Vic but you can't script this kind of dramatic irony. This episode is a doozy. OK, here's the problem with the way that Nikki is handling this right now. She needs Vic. Without Vic, she's going to have to start from scratch, building relationships with people who, she knows! are already tight with other people. So, if she REALLY needs Vic, as she claims, why the hell is she playing hint-at-me games? Why would you EVER leave to chance that he'll "figure it out on his own"? If he's being obtuse, tell him straight up what's going on. You don't have time to play games with him, if he's really an important part of your plan. Once you've convinced him, you still need to work out what to do about it, get your ducks lined up, and give them a shove in the right direction. The other part of that is by telling him straight out is it tells Vic "you can trust me". If he survives this vote, and it goes down like you told him, you have yourself a REAL ally, not just one that you've been doing the liar-liar dance with since you started talking with him. If you just throw hints at him, and he figures it out on his own... what does he owe you, really? Sure, there's a risk that you telling him will get back to "other" people, but frankly, if you vote in Vic's favor this round, who cares what you said to him during it? So, my question to you, Nikki, is this: Are you REALLY ready to start playing this game? Or are you going at it half-assed.

Agree with Nax, not sure why Nikki isn't just being straight up with Vic.
