Ok although I disliked Vic, he was a player. Jared was a player. Two of the very few players just got out this round....now all we got are jacob and nikki and as the players. Now that Vic is gone, christina will float as far as she can I think

My other real question is why the fuck Jess and Jacob would vote out vic and Yapp vote out Charlie. I watched their confessionals and there was no explanation....

Jessica Frey and Jacob voted out Vic because if Charlie used his double vote, Vic would go home anyways and they would be on a sinking Liberté ship with no way to recover. They decided to vote out Vic so they could dissolve the tribal lines and ensure that the Jacmel people would target others before them.
Yapp voted for Charlie because he had to leave and he was scrambling and didn't know what to do, and Nikki called him 2 hours before the deadline and told him that she wanted to save Vic. Yapp doesn't seem play for himself really so he just listened and voted off Charlie and left.

Yapp is losing himself and just trying to be a team player and might be playing the wait for the right moment game

I feel like doing a quick rundown of all the remaining players. It might be boring, but I don't care. I just feel like doing it.
CHARLIE Nobody particularly likes him. In fact, most people are on the edge of being downright fed up with him. This could be bad for his game.... or it could be good. The only question is, is he not-bad enough that people will be willing to keep him around to be their own personal goat? And, for his sake, will he recognize how he's perceived and realize that potential value in fostering that perception long enough to make his going to the final a sure thing... and then have the charisma to turn that perception around in time to convince a jury? Well, OK, the answer to that is "no". Resoundingly. While he has some grasp of how the game works, he doesn't seem to know what's actually going on it, despite everyone telling him. People might keep him around, but I don't think he has a chance in hell of winning.
CHIRSTINA You poor thing. She's not dumb, but she doesn't seem to get that she needs to talk to people to have any shot at a win. She's shy. Sure. I get that, but shy people - even shy girls who also are cute and pitiable- don't win. The only chance she has is a deeply bitter jury (which is remotely possible). That said, people will take her very near the end if only because she's not perceived as even a little dangerous.
DEREK I have this feeling that my opinion of him as a whiny, angry little ball of spiky hate isn't what other people see. It definitely helps that he's highly social, and gets the game well enough to offer up valid strategies. And people do seem to trust him - many even hinge their plans on his approval (which should be a red flag for anybody playing this game). But ultimately, I don't think he'll make it to F3, depending on who goes home this round. He'll be used for another round or two, but most will recognize him as a very real threat, and that does seem to be the primary criteria for votes with this cast.
HODGES The ultimate Dark Horse. He's kept himself available to pretty much everybody, and I don't think there's more than a couple people who don't think he's loyal to them. I wish I could say it's a result of his stellar play, but unfortunately the luck of the draw has almost as much to do with it. He's been a free agent because his former tribe was all but wiped out, and that was such a visible condition - especially with Liberte and Jacmel still largely intact at the merge - that he was able to just stroll into this position. Now, he's done a great job of capitalizing on it, but now it's starting to work against him. Some are seeing him as a threat... but not an immediate concern. He's got a solid chance of making the finals, and could potentially win this thing. He just needs to escape the gravity well of his own popularity.
JACOB Jacob is my current favorite to win. He's got a strong social game, a solid hand on the reigns of power, sound strategy and a few almost sincere allies. If he has a weakness, it's that he doesn't read people nearly as well as he thinks he does. Also, he's another one burdened by the weight of his own popularity, if a bit less unaware of it as Hodges is. Already Jessica is planning his demise (but then, she's planning HOdges' demise, too). He needs to stay very aware of how people are talking to him from here on out, because it won't be long now until he's a prime target. Right now, he has the power. That's going to flip on him, soon.
JESSICA "Like, I just feel like.... I don't know. Whatever." ::hairflip:: Her confessionals annoy me: between her speech patterns, constant nervous energy (this isn't the energy of a self-confident, highly creative person, it's the twitchy energy of someone who's terrified what other people think of her). That said, I love the fact that she's thinking of every possible angle she can come up with. It might be more than she needs to be thinking, and it could get her into trouble, but she also seems to be aware of that fact. She has potential to be a solid player.... just not her in Haiti. She knows what needs to happen, but I have very little faith in her ability to make it happen. She might get dragged to FTC, but if so it won't be by people she can beat.
JOANNE Another player with a lot of potential, but I don't think she's been in the cooker long enough. But she has a strong enough base personality that she could explode onto the scene at exactly the right moment. For now, though, she still too inclined to let others do her thinking for her. As it stands right now, if she made FTC, I can see her trying to claim credit for everybody else's strategies, if only because that's the only argument she'll have available to her. She classifies as a "wild card" in the sense that, if it were up to me, I'd invite her back for another season, betting on my instinct that says she's pull it out if she had it to do again.
NIKKI Oh, Nikki. Sweety. You went from Ms. Invisible to Ms. Wayoverplaying. If you don't get voted out this round, you'd better hope someone else makes themselves a HUGE target and you have a chance to back off and consider what you've done wrong. You didn't just start playing the game... you tried to own it without even talking to a loan officer... which you would have needed to do, because you SO didn't have the cash on hand to just buy it outright. If things go as they seem to be going, you're about to get foreclosed on. Sheriff's about to escort you off of the property.
YAPP A consummate follower, I don't think he's got much chance of getting to the end. He strikes me as a loyalty player who's taken it to the extreme: he's the ensign that's decided he's going down with his Captain as his boat sinks beneath him. It's fine to be loyal - I'm a loyalty player, myself - but Yapp needs to realize that that doesn't mean that backup plans are disloyal, or that you can't get close with other people, or that you aren't allowed to have an original thought. Like Jessica, he's brimming with nervous energy, but I think in his case it's just youth and hyperactivity. Or maybe cocaine.
Here's how I envision the boot order from here on:
Next out will be Nikki, unless she wins immunity. But, since Immunity isn't easily predictable, I'm just going to discount it for this list. Nikki should be next. The numbers are there, even if Derek refuses to vote her. Worst case, she'll have Yapp, Derek and Joanne. That's 4-5, and she's out.
At F8, the plots will start to twist, but it will wind up being pretty straight-forward as Yapp is sent on his way.
F7 is where things start to shake up. There will be an attempt to go after either Jacob or Hodges (or even Derek) and this is going to create a shit-ton of drama. Once the dust settles, everyone will go back to their respective corners and all take aim at Charlie, who will be voted out at this point.
F6 will be the real power plays. There won't be any compromise targets, this time. Ultimately it will come down to who held onto the most loyalty, with Hodges, Jacob and Derek being the targets, again. Hodges will fall off that list, but not before having his side chosen for him. In a strong majority vote (4-2) Derek's game ends.
F5 is the first of the real cannibalism. At first it will look like a choice between Jacob and Hodges, but Jacob will cut a deal, Hodges will agree to it, and they'll target Joanne. But Hodges will betray Jacob at this point (after nearly breaking down in tears on camera, while driving to a wedding for a photo shoot). He, Joanne and Jessica vote Jacob. Jacob and Christina vote Joanne. Jacob leaves.
F4 looks like it's going to be easy, but Hodges will want to keep Christina. It will become a thing. That thing will become a tie. In the re-vote, Jessica flips and votes Joanne. 3-1, and the Final Three are Christina, Hodges and Jessica.
And what a trip it would be if this fantasy scenario plays out that way, right?

"Hodges and I are like Malcolm and Denise!" - Charlie "No, we're like Kass and Spencer...." - Hodges

Sorry for not being around so much lately! I'm not surprised by either Vic or Jared being voted out because they made themselves big targets. Also, it was probably the smartest move for the floaters in my opinion.
If Charlie is being compared to Kass I just can't deal with that...

Hahaha I think it's more about the relationship....Both pairs were the last two from their original, failing tribe, but Denise and Malcolm were a tight, dominating pair, where as Kass and Spencer were rather dysfunctional and ending up splitting sides, despite trying to mend their relationship. The latter definitely describes Hodges and Charlie more.

I feel bad for Hodges. He is super super sad that Derek didn't do the challenge and didn't draw him. I totally understand that Derek got called into work last minute and didn't get a chance. But he was so nonchalant about it and this challenge meant a lot to Hodges and I feel awful that he wanted a self portrait so bad and he didn't get one! ): He is so sad. Can we all draw him portraits like Nax did? <3
